Soil: Any type. Moist but well draining.

Frost tolerance: High.

Endemic to NSW, Mint bush produces delicate purple flowers throughout spring and the leaves have a mild minty fragrance. Hardy and frost tolerant, it thrives in part shade and prefers protection from harsh afternoon sun. Ideal for borders, woodland gardens, or as an understory plant beneath taller trees. 

NSW Mint bush has a very mild scent and flavour and is not generally used in cooking, it is valued as an ornamental garden plant with a prolific flower display attractive to pollinators.
